12/17 Weekly Update from the Campaign Trail!

Melissa Ackison Endorsed by Wyandot County Officials

Melissa Ackison attended Nevada, Ohio's annual Christmas parade with her husband Rich and sons. After the parade Melissa joined the community for hot cocoa and Christmas caroling.

While there, Melissa gained the endorsements of Nevada Mayor Harold Lambert, Nevada Councilmen Greg Durham and Michael Wise, BPA President Amanda Rex, and BPA Board Member Steve Messmer.

"I’m honored and humbled to have the resounding endorsements from these fine folks and public servants. The thing that touched my heart the most was having the public support from officials from differing political backgrounds who traditionally don’t endorse candidates. I’ve said from the very beginning that this is the people’s campaign and all that I can do as a candidate is to just be myself. Good people can recognize other good people who genuinely care and that’s what it’s all about. I look forward to being their voice and their partner after I win the March 17 Republican primary."
